Hello. John Petersen here, Port Orange, Florida (2 miles south of Daytona). I am a Zone Delivery Manager for the Schenck Company in Orlando, Florida. I have been with the company for 2+ years. I am always looking to improve myknowledge of the business and will be studying to become a CBS. My hope is that this will help me become a better asset in my interactions with my sales department.

Hello everyone, my name is Grant Bounds. While I have absolutely no experience in the business I'm very passionate about beer and interested in expanding my knowledge. I'm just about to turn 22 so my experience with good beer has been limited though I've been trying to get a taste of as many beers as possible to diversify my palate. Since I'm in college, that can be hard on my wallet at times, but it's always worth it.

I'd definitely like to get into the business one way or another in order to spread knowledge of how complex and how unique brews can be. Even if I never get to apply it, the certification would at the very least be motivation for me to learn even more in depth details about beer. I've only briefly looked around on this site, but after taking the sample test, I found that there is still a lot left for me to learn even for that level of certification. I haven't seen any specific sources for prep for the exam, so I'm guessing that the only method for now is independent research. So I guess I'm off to do some research.

Hello!

My name is Mark and I currently reside in Toledo, Ohio. Having only recently become of legal age, I am still new to the world of craft beers. Currently I hold a Foundation Certificate from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, as well a bartending certification from the Professional Bartending Schools of America. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in the fascinating world of beers and am always on the lookout for more information relating to the topic.

Hello,

I am Aland Alvin. I am the newest member of this forum. I want to create a friend circle in which we discuss about new stuff that is happening around us. So that everyone can get benefits from it. If you want to know about me then here it goes: I am a young forum owner with big dreams that I will try hard to achieve. I'm not just a computer geek; I'm a very sporty person. I play as right back for my school football (soccer) team and basketball. So overall good at sports. I am also a gamer so watch out for me in the gaming section Ha ha. So yeah that's enough about me and now it is time for this forum: Nice design so overall a great forum and good luck! So I look forward to been a member here!
Thanks.

Hey all, I am just starting in the Cicerone program and LOVE beer!  I have worked in the industry for 20 years now and feel this can only add to my resume.  I need to start homebrewing as it seems very important to learn from, but I haven't ever done it.  Any suggestions as to where to begin???
Thanks-
Bob Barry (or Boobarry as I am affectionately called!)

Hello everybody, and nice to meet you all.  My name is Ben and I'm an avid home-brewer and beer lover.

I love the idea and spirit of the Cicerone program and would like to raise a big glass to Ray Daniels and everybody else behind the scenes working to help this grow.  The evolution of beer knowledge and culture in the US is one of the most exciting things in the wonderful world of beer right now.  Its great to see the status of beer elevated beyond 'less filling' to that of something which can be contemplated, savored, and enjoyed at a higher level.
Thanks to the Cicerone program, and everybody participating in it, for helping to grow beer culture and craft-brewing in the US.  These efforts will become increasingly important as the craft beer movement continues to expand as more and more people discover the vast array of what beer can be.  It will be important to have people who can inform, entertain, and help spread knowledge of beer in all of its forms.  This program will be integral to the elevation of beer status and quality as the craft beer world grows.

Cheers
Ben

PS - Ray Daniels, just wanna give another 'thanks'.  DGB revolutionized my brewing.
