The Cicerone Certification Program - Master Syllabus

 

The Cicerone Certification Program Master Syllabus contains an outline of the that will be tested by the Certified Cicerone and Master Cicerone exams.  The Master Syllabus draws upon expertise from throughout the beer industry and will be continually upgraded and refined through input by experts in the beer and hospitality industries.  New versions of the syllabus will be issued periodically, often in anticipation of a Certified or Master Cicerone exam.

Novice Syllabus

A different syllabus covers the knowledge needed for the first level cerfitication--the Certified Beer Server.  The Novice Syllabus is a subset of the Master Syllabus that focuses on serving issues and the basics of beer and styles.  The published Novice Syllabus is now available for viewing by registered users.  (See home page of this site to register.)
