Got a bottle of the new "Hop Henge Experimental IPA" from Deschutes this week--can't wait to try it tonight when friends come over for paella. According to Brewmaster Larry Sidor they have used "new hop processes and techniques" in this beer. Hmm. Given what I've seen home- and craft brewers do over the past 20 years, they must have done some very creative thinking. But the important thing is that they have used Cascade and Centennial for all this--two of my favorite hops. Here are the vital stats: ABV: 8.75% IBUs: 95
