Master Cicerone^tm Exam  

The details of the 2010 Master Cicerone^tm Exam have been worked out. It will be conducted October 27-28 in the suburbs west of Chicago.  We plan to hold the first day at Micromatic's facilities near Rockford and then do the second day at a brewpub in Palatine, IL. Certified Cicerone^tm Exams 

The following list of exams is updated regularly as we add new sites.  We are currently making arrangements for a January 2011 exam at the Brick Store Pub in Decataur, GA. We also hope to add Nov. 2010 dates in New York City, and Boston. Check back often and watch our emails for upcoming announcements.  We continue to offer advanced courses in conjunction with certain exam dates, and  a review class online. We will soon being adding dates for early 2011. Please contact us if  you are interested in hosting or taking the exam in the coming year.  

Beginning in 2009, those who take the Certified Cicerone exam and do not pass on their first attempt will be able to retake the exam at a reduced rate that covers the costs of re-examination. Pricing for retakes will be as follows:

Re-take of both written and tasting portions:     $150

Re-take of only one portion (written or tasting):   $75

If you retake only one part, your prior scores will remain unchanged for the other part(s) and a new average will be determined with the new portions.

No discounts are given for retakes. 

Retest Policy for Master Cicerone™ Exam

Those who retest for the Master Cicerone™ Exam cicerone exam will pay 80% of the exam fee that is in effect at the time of the retest. No other discounts will be applied.
