Certified Cicerone Review Course

This three hour course reviews essential knowledge needed for the Certified Cicerone(tm) exam and introduces candidates to the tasting exercises used in the exam. This course focuses on review of knowledge for which few written resources exist such as draft systems, beer flavor & tasting and beer & food pairing as well as selected, specialized topics related to brewing and beer styles.

In some cities the review course is offered as an in-person classroom course one or two days before a scheduled exam. We also now offer this course as a webinar training session at least twice a month so that students can attend from any internet-connected computer. (See http://cicerone.webex.com for more information.)

The live course fee is $99 if taken without registering for the exam or $79 if registered for the exam.  The online version (which is recorded so that participants can review it at a later time) is $89.

Please see the course content outline below.

This course is not a comprehensive preparation program and cannot serve as a candidate's sole preparation for the Certified Cicerone exam.  However it serves as a useful review and worthwhile fine-tuning for candidates who have used the syllabus and recommended readings to prepare themselves.

Unless otherwise noted, this program will be presented by Cicerone Certification Program Director Ray Daniels.
