Detailed descriptions of all beer styles with commercial examples (for tasting!) can be found at the Beer Judge Certification Site. They list more styles than you need to know for the Certified Beer Server Exam so remember to select those that are relevant. Because it doesn’t change often, we do use the BJCP listings as the reference for exam questions about styles, especially numeric values for bitterness, alcohol content, etc.
