Brewer, author, and beer educator Ray Daniels founded the Cicerone Certification Program in 2007 to improve beer quality and service by establishing reliable standards for professional beer knowledge. In 2024, Master Cicerones Jason Pratt and Dan Imdieke acquired the program and now lead its continued growth and development.
