Does Cicerone certification teach brewing?

Cicerone certification includes substantial knowledge of brewing ingredients, processes, fermentation, recipe choices, packaging, and the ways production decisions affect flavor. The program prepares professionals to understand and communicate about brewing. It is not a replacement for a hands-on brewing apprenticeship, technical brewing school, or brewing science degree.
