What subjects are covered by Cicerone certification?

Cicerone exams assess knowledge and skills across five knowledge areas: Keeping and Serving Beer; Beer Styles; Beer Flavor and Evaluation; Beer Ingredients and Brewing Processes; and Pairing Beer with Food. Each certification level has its own syllabus, with the scope and depth of required knowledge increasing as candidates advance.
