Celebrate exemplary beer service on May 16 by raising a pint of your favorite beer in a properly cleaned glass!
Led by the Cicerone® Certification Program, Beer Clean Glass Day highlights the importance of proper service standards and recognizes the bars, restaurants, and breweries that uphold them. Join in by visiting your favorite spot or pouring a beer at home.
To participate, share photos of beautifully poured beer on social media using #BeerCleanGlass. Cicerone will be highlighting favorite posts from the community throughout the day.
Why does it matter? A beer-clean glass supports proper foam, enhances presentation, and allows the full character of the beer to come through. Without it, beer can appear flat and less inviting.

Cicerone Certification Program
Founded in 2007, the Cicerone program conducts examinations of beer knowledge for certification at four levels. Thousands of people who work for breweries, beer wholesalers, restaurants, bars, liquor stores and grocery stores have completed one or more levels of the certification program in the past year. Doing so demonstrates knowledge of beer keeping and service, beer styles, flavors, brewing process and ingredients and beer and food pairing.
